The purpose of these is to celebrate and sanctify the entrance of a new born into the world and also to give thanks for the miracle of the new life and to support the parents into stepping into parenthood with love and clarity. We also acknowledge the role of grandparents and god parents and the place of the new born in the family lineage. These ceremonies are a great celebration of gratitude and great joy based around honouring the newly born infant.
Creating and facilitating tailor made ceremonies is one of the areas where Interfaith ministers are most needed. Many couples today are seeking spiritual wedding ceremonies outside of a particular denomination or a ceremony which honours two divergent traditions or that honours and blesses same sex unions. Where people want something more personal or relevant to themselves interfaith ministers can make a significant enhancement to the proceedings. I endeavor to add something special to the service, honouring the tradition but giving much more.

For these types of ceremonies I will, as a minister, create and hold a solid presence of compassion and safety and will hold this space for the family and friends of the deceased as they reflect upon their loss. The service is designed to celebrate the life of the deceased whilst helping those who remain to come to terms with the process of living and dying as they honour the deceased. Often funerals can be too formal and I feel that it is important to bring love into the releasing making the service truly a celebration of the life of the deceased.
Healing occurs when we surrender to our own truth as to who we really are. I can help people with this assisting in the release of deep issues, opening the way for shifts in consciousness allowing people to see things from a different viewpoint. I can help people become open to change, bringing them back to a state of wholeness and allowing them to let go of old habits and beliefs which are not benefiting their life. Various practices and ceremonies may be incorporated under this heading including psychotherapy, reiki, counselling and meditation. I can help people by assisting them in releasing beliefs and values which are damaging their lives.
Spiritual counselling is an invitation to fully accept truth into our life. To live a life which becomes increasingly more meaningful as we accept the invitation to live from a place of self awareness. To be still and wake up to who we really are, free from storylines which so often distort the truth of who we really are. Spiritual counselling offers a safe space to explore how we can live from a more authentic place of being.
Services can be created and performed for any occasion. I am open to assisting with any event such as blessing a new home, a transitional stage in one's life, new business ventures etc. I endeavor to bring a sense of freshness and self into these occasions.
The services that I offer are very personal, each tailored to the needs or desires of individual people or groups. As such it is not possible to give any standard prices as these must reflect the time spent in preparation, research, actually conducting the service and counselling the participants as they may require. I offer a sincere and honest service which will typically cost between £100 and £500.
Most of my work involves individual counselling sessions with both individuals and couples. I particularly work with people or persons experiencing grief, bereavement, relationship difficulties, adjustment difficulties or people coming to terms with potentially life threatening illness. I offer meditation, reiki and also, of course, spiritual conselling.
For individual counselling sessions I typically charge £25 to £35.
