The Rev. Jan Jamilla Hine

Interfaith Minister, Spiritual Counsellor,
Psychotherapist, Reiki Master and Accredited Supervisor

As an ordained Interfaith Minister I am trained to undertake a range of ceremonies including Weddings, Funerals, Baby Blessings, Rites of Passage Blessings and Healings. You can read in detail about these ceremonies and the other services I offer on the Services page.

I follow, and work with, the Interfaith Foundation ‘Code of Ethics' which are as follows:

  • Remembering our Unity; Honouring our Uniqueness
  • Walking our Talk
  • Celebrating Honesty
  • Protecting Clarity
  • Honouring Physical Boundaries
  • Representing Ourselves Accurately
  • Maintaining Confidentiality
  • Valuing Support and Supervision
  • Committing to Continued Awakening
  • Safeguarding the Whole

As an Interfaith Minister, whatever I do, my work is about meeting people, heart to heart, with compassion. My ministry embraces an inclusive, global spirituality, to serve people from all faiths, or none. I am trained to support individuals, families and communities in living a direct, authentic spirituality that is relevant and helpful in our modern world.

As a Minister I make use of my training with the Interfaith Seminary to weave a wide range of specialities into the fabric of my ministry. This strengthens my work and helps me focus on the holistic being.

The Interfaith Foundation, believing that there is One God/Truth and many paths leading to the Source of All, is grounded in a universal and inclusive approach to spirituality. It is not designed as a rival to traditional religions. Rather it serves as an additional approach, promoting an ethic of respect, reconciliation, forgiveness and fellowship; supporting peacemaking and the remembrance of our fundamental human unity.

We celebrate all faiths and believe in one spiritual being.

Jan is a member of the One Spirit Interfaith Foundation. She is on its register of recognized ministers, and is fully insured by the Foundation.
